Sending a Gap Gift Card

There are two ways to send a Gap gift card to someone: via email or through regular mail.

Email Gap E-cards

To send someone an electronic Gap gift card, follow the steps below.

1. Open Gap's website in your browser.
2. Click "Gift Cards" in the right-hand corner of your screen.
3. Tap "Give an E-giftcard" to send it via email.
4. Type in the recipient's name.
5. Key in your name.
6. Click "Send a Digital Card."
   
7. Choose the card design or upload your own photo.
8. Click "How Much?"
9. Enter the amount of the card.
10. Select the number of gift cards you want to purchase.
11. Click "Add a message."
12. Type in your personalized message and hit "Where is it going?"
13. Add the recipient's email address twice and include the person's phone number for a text alert.
14. Set the delivery date.
15. Click "Add to cart" then go to "Checkout."
    
16. Type in your email address twice and your phone number.
17. Add payment details including billing information.
18. Review the information, then click "Place My Order."

E-cards can also be purchased on Amazon and delivered to the recipient's email address by following the onscreen prompts.

Regular Mail Classic Card Delivery

To send someone a classic Gap gift card, follow the steps listed here.

1. Open Gap's website in your browser.
2. Click "Gift Cards" in the right-hand corner of your screen.
3. Tap "Give a Gift Card" to set regular mail delivery.
4. Choose card design and amount.
5. Click "Add to bag."
6. Go to "Checkout."
7. Enter shipping details, click "Save and Continue."
8. Select shipping method.
9. Enter payment information and click "Save and Continue."
10. Review the information, then click "Place My Order."

Classic gift cards can also be purchased at any Gap location to be hand-delivered or mailed to the recipient. Amazon users can purchase classic gift cards and have them mailed to the person.
