Requirements for Receiving Unemployment Benefits in Ohio

- You must have worked at for least 20 weeks during the last year for an employer who paid Ohio unemployment insurance taxes on you.
- Your average weekly wage for every week you worked in the last year must be at least $247.

- You must be available to work.
- You must file your weekly claim while you receive unemployment benefits. It is used to prove that you are continuing to look for work.

- Find the last 4 digits of your Social Security number in the column on the left of the table in the center of the page.
