What are the library's policies on noise and behavior?

Asked 7 months ago
The Salt Lake City Public Library values a calm and comfortable environment for all patrons. To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, we have established policies on noise and behavior. We kindly request visitors to keep noise levels at a reasonable level, refraining from loud conversations or disruptive activities that may disturb others. Designated silent areas are available for those seeking a quieter atmosphere. Additionally, we expect all visitors to demonstrate respectful behavior towards staff, fellow patrons, and library property. Engaging in any form of harassment, vandalism, or illegal activities is strictly prohibited. Violations of these policies may result in warnings, loss of library privileges, or law enforcement involvement if necessary. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful and welcoming environment for all library users.
