What are the acceptable methods of payment for state taxes?

Asked 6 months ago
The Wyoming Department of Revenue offers several convenient and secure methods of payment for state taxes. Firstly, electronic payment options are available through the state's online portal, allowing taxpayers to pay using credit or debit cards. These cards include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Additionally, electronic fund transfers from checking or savings accounts are accepted. Another payment option is by mail, allowing taxpayers to send a personal check or money order along with their tax return. Cash payments are also accepted in person at select Department of Revenue offices, but it is recommended to call ahead to ensure availability. Lastly, taxpayers can make payments using the official mobile app, WYDOT. It is important to note that payments made through credit cards, debit cards, or e-checks are subject to a convenience fee.
