On 02/22/[redacted], my unemployment benefits stopped due to my account balance reaching $0. This is my first time on UI benefits. After not receiving the pandemic extension automatically as promised, I reapplied. However, it has been five months since then, and I still haven't received any payments. Despite my continuous attempts to call, I am unable to reach anyone as the line keeps saying they cannot take my call. I resorted to sending letters every other day, but have not received any response. On 05/24/[redacted], I received a duplicate of the initial letter promising a response within 7-10 days. The situation has caused immense frustration as I watch my life crumble due to COVID-19. I am on the brink of bankruptcy, behind on payments, and facing the loss of everything I have. The lack of communication and support from UI is pushing me to the edge. I feel disregarded and ignored after five months of attempting to contact them. It has become unbearable, and I am at a loss for what to do next. Any advice or assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently resubmitted my claim through a Tier 2 agent as the online option was not available to me. After my claim year was reopened, I received back pay for a few weeks and a new award letter with a higher benefit amount. My PEUC claim ran out, and I was told my new amount would take effect once it reached zero. However, after that happened, I stopped receiving benefits and was unable to certify. After finally reaching another Tier 2 specialist, I was informed that everything was fine and I had 5 weeks to certify for. Despite being assured that there wouldn't be any more issues, I still haven't received my benefits and I'm missing around $2,[redacted] in payments. I have been struggling with no transportation, money for rent, or even basic necessities like food while actively looking for full-time work. I urgently need my benefit amount adjusted for my next certification, and I hope to receive the missing payments for the last five weeks. I have been trying numerous numbers to reach them with no success. If you could assist me in getting in touch with the right person to resolve my situation, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Gustavo Perez. I was receiving unemployment benefits when the EDD asked for identity verification. I didn't have my card at the time, but now that I have all my paperwork in order, I can't access my account as I seem to be locked out. I've been trying to verify my identity through ID.ME but have been unsuccessful. ID.ME instructed me to contact EDD for a link to verify my identity through them. I'm unable to log in, out of funds, and need the link from EDD to proceed. Your assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I recently filed a new claim and received my EDD customer account number. I created an online account with a different email address than before. After entering all my information, including the customer account number, SS number, name, phone number, and address, I clicked next. However, I encountered an error stating that the information did not match what was used to apply for my claim. I am unable to continue or certify. Could the issue be related to the email address? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I recently experienced issues with my unemployment claim due to a blanket fraud account suspension. I followed the instructions to verify my identity through ID.me from 12/20 to 4/17, but my claim remained pending. After verifying my identity and receiving a confirmation email, I confirmed my status on the ID.me website. However, EDD disqualified my claim all the way back to [redacted]. Despite being verified, EDD did not receive confirmation from ID.me. An agent explained this discrepancy after months of trying to reach them. The agent submitted a request for verification, but I have yet to receive a call back or any updates. This has caused financial hardship, leading me to live in my car. The lack of communication between EDD and ID.me has prevented me from accessing my backdated benefits.

I have not received my unemployment insurance payments for the weeks ending 3/20/[redacted], 3/27/[redacted], and 4/03/[redacted]. The payments should have been processed as EDD confirmed they received the certifications. These 3 weeks of certifications have been pending for almost 3 months. I filed a new UI claim in April because my old claim expired on March 15, [redacted]. Despite contacting EDD multiple times, the issue remains unresolved. While I managed to speak with EDD representatives over the phone, they were unable to assist as they were not tier 2 representatives. Despite being transferred to a tier 2 representative, no one answered after waiting for 3 to 7 hours until EDD closed. I also emailed EDD twice about this matter through my UI online account in April, but received no response.

I had a friend help me file for pandemic unemployment around February 14 last year. I was approved and received the card, but it was stolen four days later. I contacted unemployment, and the person who filed for me did not provide the correct username and password. After reporting fraud, they froze my account. I have been unsuccessful in changing my information as it was all set up under her details. I have not received any payments for over a year, and the $16,[redacted] in my frozen account has not been released. I need assistance in resetting my username and password to access my account and claim my funds. It has been a difficult situation, and I require help urgently. Thank you, Nicole Higgins. Additionally, seven months ago, my wallet was stolen from my car, and I made a report. There are too many dishonest people nowadays. Please respond to me promptly.

Subject: Urgent Issue with EDD - Assistance Needed Dear Sir/Madam, I have been struggling to get in touch with the EDD for the past few days. Finally, after numerous attempts, I was connected to a representative this morning, only to be disconnected after waiting for 51 minutes. I have called over [redacted] times since February without any resolution. It has been over 8 weeks since I received my benefits, and I urgently need assistance to rectify an issue in my file. The lack of response and inefficient service from EDD is distressing. The mismanagement of the California UI/EDD programs, particularly under the current leadership, is unacceptable. The difficulty in accessing help has been frustrating and humiliating. The system designed to support individuals in need is failing, and urgent action is required to prevent further harm. I implore you to address these issues promptly and provide the necessary support to those in need. The current situation is dire, and it is essential that steps are taken to improve the service provided by EDD. Sincerely, Raphael G.

My name is Marc T. McMurray. I was unemployed from January 29, [redacted], until May 10, [redacted], and that's the period I need unemployment benefits for. I tried filing in March [redacted], but the EDD website wasn't working for two months. When I could file, I couldn't select the correct dates, only being allowed to claim from May [redacted] onward. EDD is asking me to claim $[redacted] starting in May [redacted] for 6 and 1/2 months, but I started a part-time seasonal job in May and was denied benefits for having a full-time job. Even though I work 33 hours per week, EDD considers it full-time. I have proof with my pay stubs. I just want my back payments for unemployment from January 29, [redacted], to May 10, [redacted], in one lump sum. The EDD automated phone system isn't helpful; it only says they're experiencing high call volume. What is happening with California EDD?

Hello, I received my last payment on 04/25/[redacted], and I believe I have received all the benefits owed to me. I have been attempting to contact someone to inquire about the status of my claim. I recently received a letter stating that I don't need to reapply for an extension as one will be filed automatically for me. This will be my first time on an extension and I haven't received any updates since. Despite multiple attempts to call various numbers, I keep encountering automated messages stating that calls are not being accepted due to high volume. My emails have also gone unanswered. I'm simply looking for assistance regarding my claim to determine if I qualify for an extension under the Pandemic claim. Please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thank you for your help.

In December, my unemployment benefits were unexpectedly cut off because they required me to confirm my address. I promptly submitted the necessary proof back then, but I have yet to receive any appeal forms. Despite uploading the documents and providing identification at the bank, they continue to give me the runaround. I have reached out with questions but have not received any responses. I have complied with all their requests, even physically mailing in paperwork, but now I am at my breaking point. I have been struggling without food and electricity for months, and my baby relies on oxygen to survive. While they granted me extensions, come July 3rd, I will face eviction due to unpaid rent. They have notified me that they cannot make payments in July, and my utilities are scheduled to be shut off. If something were to happen to my baby, I am prepared to take legal action against the state of California for negligence. I have documented proof of all my submissions and interactions; I just want to know where my owed money is.

I experienced a setback with my employment in December due to fraudulent misrepresentation. To resolve this, they required me to verify my identity at the bank with two forms of ID, which I successfully did. However, they then asked for proof of my Social Security and California ID, which I promptly uploaded. Despite this, they requested further verification of my work address, for which I submitted three different documents. They assured me my claim would be reopened once all the necessary information was provided. Fast forward to January, with a new baby on life support requiring oxygen to survive, I have been granted fake extensions on my utility bills until the end of June. However, come July 3rd, my electricity and gas are at risk of being shut off as no more extensions can be offered. This situation leaves me worried about being homeless and unable to provide the vital oxygen my baby needs.

In December, I was cut off from unemployment due to a fraud issue. To verify my identity as Tarzan Galloway, I provided two forms of ID to the bank. However, I was then asked to verify my social security number and ID by uploading images of both sides. Throughout this process, I've been without funds, and my baby, who requires oxygen due to a birth defect, needs constant care. My landlord is demanding back pay by July 3rd or eviction. I uploaded the required documents but haven't received any benefits yet, causing a distressing situation where I can't pay for electricity to run the oxygen tank. I urgently need to reach out to them for assistance.

In December, EDD abruptly stopped my benefits, causing a lot of financial stress. Even though they mentioned things would be expedited, the process got more complicated. They directed me to Bank of America for verification. Unfortunately, amid this, my baby was born with a health condition needing lifelong oxygen support. Fast forward to June 30th, no further extensions are possible for unpaid bills. If not resolved, eviction looms. The bank confirmed my identity, but the release of funds is still pending. I provided all requested documents promptly. Despite multiple attempts, there's been no follow-up. I urgently need my EDD assistance to secure housing and vital medical support for my baby. The lack of response and assistance during this long period of waiting is incredibly distressing.

I am unable to access my UI online claim. I am locked out and no longer have access to the email or phone number I used during registration with the EDD. I need to update my contact information and reset the password for my existing claim. My new email is [redacted] and my new phone number is [redacted]. My name is Austin Mark Chase. I can provide my old email and phone number but cannot recall my password. I am willing to answer security questions, but I am still unable to log in. I require assistance from a live representative to resolve this issue, update my contact details, and reset my password. I would appreciate a prompt response as I have missed several weeks of certifying since losing access to my UI claim in March [redacted]. Receiving claim forms by mail is also an option. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I had a girl file for me last year in February, and I was approved, but she gave me the wrong username, password, phone number, and address. Four days after receiving my card, it was stolen. I contacted unemployment, who advised me to report fraud. Since then, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining a new username and password to access my account. Despite numerous attempts, they have not made any changes. It's been over a year without any payments, and my bank account was frozen. I recently filed a new claim and hope to merge them to receive my funds. I urgently need assistance as I am currently struggling with my sick mom while being homeless. If possible, please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you, Nicole H.

My claim was approved, and I have completed the certification process twice. I am still waiting for any updates on my bank card claim, as it's still pending. I have followed all their requirements and tried contacting multiple California numbers, at least 14 in total. When I do manage to speak to a representative, they claim they cannot transfer me to the correct department. It's frustrating dealing with this process, especially during the challenges of the COVID-19 situation and its variants. I hope for a resolution soon.

In June, I applied for Unemployment Insurance, which was processed successfully. Yet, I encountered an issue when attempting to register my EDDCAN number for a UI Online account. It is essential to rectify this promptly to enable me to create the account and proceed with certifying for weeks. This process will lead to receiving the Bank of America debit card for accessing benefits. An error with a code Ax004003 occurs each time I make an online registration attempt, stating that the information provided does not align with the records. Your swift assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I filed a claim on June 06, [redacted]. Due to difficulties getting through and errors unemployment made with my SS #, I am still waiting for my interview. I am now filling out my weekly certification paperwork, but I have not received my payment card or interview yet. I am certified from 06/06/[redacted] through the end of February [redacted]. I expect my next two-week certification letter soon. After finally getting through to someone, they mentioned a hold on my account and promised to transfer me to a person who could address the issue. However, I was hung up on after waiting for three hours. This situation has drained my retirement savings, and I am at my wits' end. Can someone assist me in resolving this frustrating ordeal?

Hello, I filed a PUA claim in March [redacted], and everything was going smoothly until December when EDD flagged my account for alleged fraudulent activity. I didn't report anything suspicious, and I believe no one shares my name. They asked me to verify my ID through ID.me, but despite numerous attempts, it failed. I reached out to ID.me for help, but received no response. Following the disqualification in December [redacted], I unexpectedly received three payments in April 13. Confused about my status, I have had no payments since April. I appealed, submitted required documents to the Oxnard appeals center in June, but have not heard back. I am desperate for answers and the owed back pay. The situation has left me homeless, and I believe there is approximately $14,[redacted] remaining in my claim. I feel unfairly treated and seek a prompt resolution. Please help fix this immediately. Thank you.
