My name is Caleb and I've had spectrum internet service for years now. My last service location was for * years at *** explorer drive in Morrisville, NC. I've recently moved across the country and have purchased service with a new provider. **I have been trying to cancel service with Spectrum since ********, but have not been able to make it happen. I did speak with one lady with the retention department- she told me that she had canceled my account, told me to take my equipment to UPS and they'd know where to send it to, and then transferred me to billing, who then told me that my account wasn't canceled and had no notes on it, then transferred me again. I was on the phone for over ** minutes with no resolve. **I've since called * times with wait times over ** minutes without speaking with anyone from the retention department. I've now incurred a new charge for this month's service, all the while I've been trying to cancel since ******** and my account summary even shows my equipment isn't online! I desperately need to cancel my service.**I've tried using the chat function, but it tells me to call for service disconnect.
GetHuman-cwiselan did not yet indicate what Charter Communications should do to make this right.
