The issue in GetHuman-dtcender's own words
My account * was **** ***** **** ****. I cancelled my service for the date of ******* prior to this date . Received an e-mail indicating my pro-rated amount was $**.**. I paid the $**.** thru paypal since the auto pay should have removed since my should have been closed. When I called about the boxes to return the equipment a customer service person said I owed $**** . It appears my final payment reopened my service adding all the charges back on. After much disagreement I was transferred to a specialist who agreed I didn't owe any further payments. I am now getting a bill for $***.** showing it will be coming out of my credit card tomorrow as an "AutoPay". I have back the equipment, but I am really going to be upset I have money coming out of my credit card tomorrow.
