I attempted to resolve this with the owner, but he's resorted to inflammatory and accusatory emails so I'm going to need your assistance. We rented **** Santee through your site for December **-January *. We are finishing our Florida Vacation and had such an amazing success with our last rental for the first half that we decided to cancel our hotel rooms (we booked hotel rooms for the second half after some of our family left). **We booked **** Santee Drive and asked the owner, through the app, to turn the pool heat on. Upon checking in, the house looked a little run down, but the owner accommodated a quick booking so we decided to stay. **We were exhausted from many days at the parks, and took yesterday off as a rest day. We intended to go to Magic Kingdom today after dropping my mother in law off at the airport. **We are traveling with my Senior parents, my three teenage boys, my wife, daughter and two grand children. My mother in law left today. **We ran into multiple issues. We individually had some challenges and were trying to smooth it over to stay there. Upon checking in, we noticed that there were some stains on the carpet, and the couches had a mildew*wet smell. Decided to live With it since we were planning to spend most of the time at parks. The beds were saggy. There was Plastic on the beds and the sheets were threadbare. It was hot and sweaty. **There was no toilet paper. We went to bed early, I got up early and dropped my mother in law off at the airport for a *:**am flight. I got back and my dad's car was gone. I called him to ask if he was ok and he said yes that he was buying Lysol and liquid plumber. I asked why. Apparently there was a pool of what looked like vomit on the tub. Additionally, there was hair in the tub and it would not drain. My dad went to get stuff to sanitize and drain. There is rust around the drain and it clearly has had problems. Two of the toilets plugged and had to be plunged as well with not excessive waste. **We bought some frozen fruit to make the kids smoothies. When my son went to use the blender, there was mold in it. My daughter had to wash the coffee maker with vinager and run a pot of water through because there was mildew in there. **I was frustrated and wanted to work with him to resolve quickly and still get to our plans. **We were willing to work with the owner to get this handled. I called every number we had for him and the maintenance service. Couldn't reach anyone. He had been very responsive via email up until then. I sent him multiple emails. I finally left a message for him at *:**am. **I then got in the shower. There was black colored mold on the sill of the shower. I have two children with Asthma. They have mold allergies, and were coughing and stuffed up. It became apparent to me that we could not stay. As I was getting out of the shower, I grabbed a towel. Off the towel rack. It had dried blood on it. These are just the highlights. There were many other frustrations. **We finally decided to leave after not hearing back at all. We did not want to chance being charged another night. I was asking for another place to stay as he did mention there were other rentals. **The owner and I have had a number of pointless exchanges. He has accused us of just using the house for a New year's party. Nothing is farther from the truth. This exchange totally messed up our plans for the day, my parents leave in the morning. **I suggested to him that, despite our bad experience, that we would pay for last night and call it done. He continues to simply be accusatory and condescending. **At this point I just want to be done with it. I'm happy to forward the whole email thread, but I'm done letting him ruin our trip. At this point, we have rented another more expensive place and are way over budget. **Please resolve this for us. We will also be contacting our credit card company.
