On November 18, [redacted], I received a call from Lyft unexpectedly while awaiting a ride from "On The Go." The Lyft representative seemed to know my location, which puzzled me as I hadn't reached out to them. Despite my confusion, another Lyft driver arrived when my scheduled On The Go ride was ready, prompting me to explain the mix-up and stick with my original transport. After my trip, I discovered two charges on my PayPal Credit Account that were troubling. One was a $5.00 fee for canceling a ride, and the other was $45.96 for a service that had been voided and canceled. I provided PayPal with the transaction details on December 8, [redacted] (Transaction ID: 5D589718XM333074X), but when I spoke with a PayPal/Synchrony Bank representative, they couldn't locate the transaction. This has left me feeling upset and frustrated. As an elderly individual living on a fixed income, I hope to resolve this issue amicably. Subject: Repeated Issues with Lyft Pickups Hello Lyft, I am reaching out again regarding two unsuccessful ride attempts on Nov 30, starting at 7:17 pm, where I did not get picked up by Lyft drivers, and I have not received any acknowledgment from your team. On the first attempt, I had a location issue within the app, and the driver I called for help did not understand me due to a language barrier. For the second ride, I watched a red car drive past me at the Ft Lauderdale airport without attempting to locate me. The third driver located me, and the ride was satisfactory, but I am requesting the $49.73 charge be waived as the delays caused me to be over an hour late, resulting in missing a restaurant reservation. I hope to hear back from you soon to resolve this matter. Thank you.

On December 8th, around 7:50, I requested a ride to arrive within 20-40 minutes, aiming to reach my destination by 8:40. Unfortunately, I faced delays as two drivers canceled, leading to my pickup at 8:35 and causing me to be significantly late for my appointment. I am seeking a full refund for this unacceptable service and will escalate this matter until resolved. The inconsistency in wait times offered, with some drivers arriving very quickly and others much later, is frustrating. I believe I am owed a refund for the extreme tardiness and lack of accuracy in your service.

I need a ride to 36-22 31st Street in Queens. I contacted Lyft through their app, but received a message indicating there were pending dispute issues with my payment card ending in [redacted]. Following a double charge of $87 during my last Lyft ride on Tuesday, 12/07/22, a report was filed with both Paypal and Lyft. They have since resolved the matter and refunded the amount back to my card ending in [redacted]. Now, when attempting to request a ride, Lyft is asking for an alternative payment method which I do not possess.

I used Lyft on Thursday night, December 8 in Charlottesville, VA. However, my credit card statement shows the ride as being in San Francisco, CA. I currently reside in Charlottesville, VA. How can I correct this error? Additionally, I noticed two charges on my billing statement: - Dec 08, [redacted] LYFT *TEMP AUTH HOLD SAN FRANCISCO CA $19.90 - Dec 09, [redacted] LYFT *RIDE THU 4PM SAN FRANCISCO CA $3.98 I assume the charge on December 8 was for my ride and the one on December 9 was for the tip. I recently had an issue with a Lyft driver who claimed I had too much luggage and left. My $16.77 charge for that ride is pending, and it seems like the ride was completed online, even though I didn't go anywhere. I then took another Lyft without any luggage problems, and that charge is also pending. I anticipate that one will go through. However, the initial charge should not apply as the driver refused the ride. I am unable to find a way to request a refund or speak to customer support about this issue. Thank you.

Hello, I had prebooked a ride from San Francisco Management Group ([redacted] Union St San Francisco) to SFO for early Sunday morning. However, when I went outside to wait for the Lyft, I realized the address was incorrect and too far from my location to rectify it easily. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I had to pay $[redacted] for a new fare instead of the original prebooked price of around $45. I had correctly entered the pick-up spot, but there seemed to be an issue with the app as I distinctly remember selecting San Francisco Management Group. Paying nearly three times the original price has been financially burdensome for me, especially since I am currently interning in DC and relying on my savings. I have been a driver for quite some time with almost [redacted] rides. Yesterday, I accepted a ride to Dulles International Airport in Virginia for a $47 payout from a passenger named Aaron. However, the app had technical difficulties and did not register that I picked him up. After several unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue with Lyft, I ended up taking him to the airport without the ride being recorded in the app. Aaron provided his contact information for reimbursement purposes, and his email is [redacted] I hope Lyft can confirm the details of this incident soon, as both Aaron and I would like to ensure the ride is charged and I am compensated for my time and effort.

I would like to dispute a ride I took with Lyft. The driver was extremely rude and ended up charging me double the original fare. I was quoted $25 for the ride, but he charged me $53.80. Additionally, he added a stop in Kendall when I only went to South Miami. The driver was unprofessional, rude, had a dirty and messy car, and was mad about helping with my luggage. I took a vehicle with the driver Laney at 9:45 AM with Groome Transportation to my house at [redacted] Vineville Ave, Macon GA, [redacted]. I did not notice the transaction going through because a flag came up that was not the country's flag but a card. Later, I saw that the taxi was dispatched and I called him. I used the service and, since I thought I hadn't been charged what I saw was the service cost of $13 plus some cents I can't remember, I paid the driver $15 when I arrived at my destination, which he took. Then, in the app, I was also charged $15.86. I need you to talk to the driver so he acknowledges that I paid him the $15 according to the price I saw for the trip, but I didn't know the transaction had gone through, that's why I paid him. This morning, the driver who dropped off my son messaged me to fix an issue with his Lyft app. Now my son needs to be picked up, but I can't communicate for his return ride. I work in Georgia, so I'm unable to pick him up in Florida. For urgent help, please call me at [redacted]. My name is Roneice. I had an issue with a Lyft driver who refused to take me to my destination, which resulted in a pending charge of $87.99 for two weeks. The bank eventually reversed the charge on October 14th and 15th. However, Lyft recently reversed this reversal claiming that I declined a ride. I had to request another Lyft to drive me home after the initial driver refused to go to Monterey from Santa Cruz. The situation has been ongoing for two months, and I am frustrated by the reversal of the charge reversal. I would like to speak with someone to investigate the driver's behavior as I did not refuse the ride, and I have a witness to support my claim. - Dennis C.

I arrived to pick up a Lyft customer at the gate. I messaged the customer for a gate code while seeing another man by the gate in a car. Thinking he opened it, he followed me to the customer's house, accusing me of trespassing and being very disrespectful and vulgar without asking why I was there. Despite the police finding no wrongdoing and no records at court, my Lyft account remains suspended. I've patiently awaited for Lyft to reinstate my account. With 31 years of taxi driving experience in Fresno, this issue has been very frustrating. Thank you for any assistance in this matter.

On December 15th, I took a ride and unfortunately, I was charged extra because my brief stop took longer than anticipated. The driver left the car, forcing me to wait outside for over 5 minutes in 25-degree weather. My stop only took 1 minute and 30 seconds as I quickly used the ATM. It was quite frustrating and unprofessional for the driver to leave me waiting in the cold while he chatted in the store. I strongly believe I should not be charged for this inconvenience.

On December 16, I took my first-ever ride from a hotel to Billy Graham Library in Charlotte. It went smoothly, the driver knew the way and dropped us off at the main visitor entrance. Later that day, I booked a return ride from the Library using my phone's browser. However, the Lyft site translated "Billy Graham Library" to a street address, making it hard for me to pinpoint the pickup location correctly. The driver sent an SMS saying he was there, but I couldn't find him at the visitor entrance. The system had directed him to the wrong spot, causing confusion. To improve, Lyft should not convert locations like tourist attractions into street addresses and should allow for additional details like "Westmont Drive" or "Lot E." This would ensure better accuracy and prevent such mix-ups in the future.

The driver picked me up without any issues. My original fare quote was $69. With the airport pickup fee and taxes, it should have come to about $77 in total. However, the driver got lost twice due to issues with his GPS, resulting in us getting off the freeway multiple times. My final fare came to $[redacted], which is significantly higher than expected. Today, I requested a ride from Columbus International Airport, but the driver I was assigned to informed me that he was unable to pick me up due to car trouble. He requested that I cancel the ride, which I did. I ended up taking a taxi instead and had to cancel my Lyft ride. Now, my account seems to be stuck, and I am unable to request another ride. I accidentally left my blue pouch containing my ID, SSC, 2 credit cards, 2 debit cards, and other items in a Lyft ride. The driver promised to return it to me, but never did. Unfortunately, my phone was later stolen, so I can't access my Lyft account to check why the driver didn't bring back my belongings. I suspect the driver may have tried to contact me through my phone, which is now turned off by the thief. I've attempted to track my phone but the location and phone are disabled. I am in desperate need of help as I am unable to go to work without my wallet or phone. If anyone can assist me, I would be extremely grateful as I am currently financially stranded.

I took two rides on Friday evening and was left with almost $23. However, the amount disappeared from my account. There was no damage to the car, and I did not misbehave during the rides.
