My PlayStation account was hacked. I contacted PlayStation support, but initially, I felt like they viewed me as the perpetrator. After persisting, I eventually connected with someone who could assist me. I provided evidence of password and email changes, along with fraudulent credit card charges, but my account is now under review. Despite multiple follow-ups, I am continually transferred and unable to find resolution. It has been over a month, and all I desire is the restoration of my account through reverting the email and resetting the password. Alternatively, I seek compensation for the significant financial loss due to unauthorized digital purchases.

I allowed a friend to use my PlayStation account after he got banned from his own. During his time playing, he sent rude messages to others on my account. I warned him, but he continued. Two days later, I woke up to a 2-month suspension on my account due to the messages he sent using it. I am disappointed because I trusted him. Can you please lift or reduce the suspension? Thank you.

Dear Customer Service, I am having trouble with accessing my PSN account. I attempted to log in on my PS4 but faced repeated password rejections. I then tried to reset my password on the website, but never received the confirmation email. In the interim, I unintentionally created a new account using the same email address. As a result, I now have two accounts linked to the same email and am locked out of the original account. I am unable to reset the password for the original account as I am currently receiving reset information for the secondary account. My grandson was unfairly banned from the game chat for repeating another child's disrespectful username, "blessed." Despite this, the other child, who frequently uses racist language, has not faced any consequences. Frustrated, my grandson eventually responded with an inappropriate word after enduring repeated racial slurs. My husband always supervises these online gaming sessions, and I refuse to tolerate this recurring issue. I urge you to thoroughly investigate these incidents online; you might be surprised by the extent of such behavior. I am willing to gather evidence and submit it if necessary. Should the situation remain unresolved, I will not hesitate to raise awareness on social media platforms about the unjust treatment on PlayStation.

I have been trying to contact PlayStation multiple times for help without success. My friend is unable to download update 8.52 on his PS4 and is stuck in safe mode. We attempted updating via USB, following the instructions carefully, but it keeps reverting to recovery mode with no progress. Despite trying to update over the internet, we have been unsuccessful. We are desperate to keep the data on the PS4 but are unable to access settings to transfer it elsewhere. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

To whom it may concern, I recently had my account banned unjustly. While playing Modern Warfare this morning, I encountered an individual who engaged in inappropriate behavior after two consecutive matches. It seems he was part of a clan because in the third match, another clan member joined and started sending disrespectful messages via private chat. If my ban is due to this incident, I request that the other individual receives equal or more severe punishment since he initiated the confrontation. I seek clarification on this matter and feel if he is not penalized similarly, my ban should be lifted. The person’s PSN ID in question is "yourMOMSaHOErt." Looking forward to your response.

Hello PlayStation, I'm Alvin, and I am reaching out about an issue with my account today. I had been working on my laptop for school, then switched to my PlayStation to play games with friends. After an hour, one of the games needed an update, so I switched back to my laptop to use Discord and play a different game. When I returned to the updated game, I found that I was suspended for unknown reasons. PlayStation, I would appreciate it if you could resolve this matter and lift the suspension on my account. I purchased a year-long PS Plus subscription from a third party last year. Despite turning off automatic renewals after the purchase, I was unexpectedly charged for another year's subscription recently, soon after getting a PS Now subscription. I contacted PS support promptly to request a refund and cancel the subscription, but the representative blamed me and refused to assist. This treatment was unexpected as I've never had trouble canceling subscriptions with other companies. Feeling frustrated, I initiated a dispute with my bank to challenge the unauthorized charge. Unfortunately, this action led to my account being banned, preventing me from seeking further help via chat. Although I submitted forms, the responses only prompt me to buy PS cards, which I refuse to do. I'm unsure whether to end the dispute with the bank, but ultimately, I simply want my account reinstated without enduring more complications.

I recently received a ban for inappropriate messages towards other PlayStation players. I realize my comments were disrespectful and uncalled for, which I regret. I typically banter this way with my friends, but I acknowledge that it was not acceptable behavior online. I've tried reaching out to PlayStation customer service multiple times without success. I'm hoping to appeal my ban and propose a deal to regain access to my account. I'm willing to commit to not being reported until a specified date to demonstrate better behavior. I play regularly and intend to adjust my settings to prevent similar issues in the future. I was banned for using inappropriate language towards another player during a game of Rust. The other player had been insulting and threatening me, even going as far as threatening my account and family. I retaliated by calling them names, but it was not meant to be harmful, just a response to their behavior. I was surprised to be immediately banned without any warning. I feel frustrated as I was just trying to defend myself against the other player's toxicity. It would have been more helpful to receive a warning to stop the behavior. I believe the situation could have been handled differently.

I returned from work to discover my account was banned after receiving an email around 2 am citing a breach of terms of service. I haven't played my game in two days as I lent my PS5 to my cousins to keep them entertained while looking after my animals. It seems they may have violated a rule unknowingly. Being a loyal customer of PSN since I was 14, now 28, I find it distressing not to be able to relax and create content for my viewers. I simply wanted to unwind and play on my new PS5. I am requesting a refund for the PSN network card purchased by my girlfriend. She used her last $30 for the month on it, as we have two kids to care for. The reason for my request is that I was inexplicably banned twice from the PlayStation Network after she bought me the card, and I only played Red Dead Redemption 2 without a microphone and without interacting with anyone online. I completed my missions and was signed out and banned without any valid reason. Given that my girlfriend's family includes lawyers who have taken action against Sony and RCA, I am seeking a refund for the purchase. Consequently, I am considering moving to Xbox as my gaming platform in the future.

My PlayStation got banned due to a funds reversal incident. While I was in the hospital, my 4-year-old son accessed my console and accidentally subscribed to PlayStation Plus and Now using my mother's card on file. She did a chargeback to teach him a lesson about seeking permission first. The reversal was not meant to deceive anyone, just a misunderstanding by a young child. All involved parties seek a resolution without further punishment. The affected account is Man-man0221 or Daniel R. Garcia Jr. born on 06/07/[redacted]. The console system software version is 8.52, with the IP address [redacted].[redacted].0.[redacted] and MAC addresses 2c:cc:44:a9:c3:e7 (wired) and 28:66:e3:34:b0:d9 (Wi-Fi). The error code received is WS-[redacted]-7. It was an innocent mistake with no intention of fraud. I have a friend on PlayStation that I don’t want to unfriend, but I also don’t want to play with. He has notifications on for when I go online, so he knows exactly when I log in. I’ve been trying to stay in offline mode as much as possible, but some games require me to be online to play with other friends. Despite adjusting my settings to “Friends only”, “Friends of Friends”, and “Anyone”, he still gets notified every time I go online because he's on my friend list. I can’t find a way to prevent him from seeing my online status, and I can’t remain offline indefinitely. Is there a solution to prevent him from receiving notifications when I go online, or am I out of luck?

As a dedicated customer of PlayStation, I have owned a PlayStation console for more than 3 years. Unfortunately, I recently got suspended from my account. I allowed my brother to use it, but while I was away for dinner, he sent inappropriate messages, resulting in the suspension. I want to clarify that I did not engage in any misconduct, and I have cautioned my brother against using my account in the future. I kindly request PlayStation to lift the suspension on my account. My account got permanently banned after a dispute during a gaming session. While playing, I messaged a player to improve their performance, but it led to an argument and resulted in them reporting me. I believe I should be unbanned as I have a clean record of over 5 years on the platform without any issues. I enjoy playing games and always adhere to the PSN rules. I hope PlayStation can reconsider my ban given my longstanding positive history on the platform.

Hello, I hope I've reached the right place for my concern. I am a PlayStation user residing in the United States. I have been attempting to contact customer support, but due to high call volumes, I keep getting disconnected. I am having trouble logging into my PlayStation account. The email associated with my account is [redacted] I can input and change my password, but once I reach the two-step verification code, I am unable to proceed. Upon multiple login attempts, I noted that the mobile number receiving the code is incorrect, ending in [redacted] instead of my actual number ending in [redacted]. I suspect my account may have been compromised as I did not update my mobile number. Since I cannot access my account without the verification code, which is being sent to the wrong number, I cannot make any changes to my account settings to rectify the issue.
