I submitted my unemployment claim in September [redacted]. After being denied initially, I appealed and had a hearing in February [redacted] where the decision was modified by the hearing officer who stated I qualified for PUA benefits. I have certified for 25 weeks but have not received any payments yet. It's frustrating to still be waiting for financial support six months later, especially after being told I qualified for benefits. My family's financial situation is becoming dire as we wait for the assistance we are owed. I have been patient, but the delay is putting our livelihood at risk. The state of Tennessee needs to expedite the process so that families like mine can receive the help they need promptly.

I filed my claim at the start of the pandemic and it was approved. However, I didn't receive any money for 6 months. When I finally received the money, I realized there was a discrepancy in the benefit amount. Even after questioning this with Adrian, my claim was put on hold, and now it shows as exhausted. I tried filing a new claim, which was approved for one week, but it has vanished now, and I can't certify it. The live chat is unhelpful, disconnecting me every time I try to get assistance. This system is incredibly frustrating and I can't seem to get any help no matter what I do.

I was employed and receiving benefits until the first week of December. Despite filing weekly from January to March, my claim shows as "under review." I renewed my certification on January 3rd, missing the December renewal. The system auto-renewed it again later. However, I have not received any payments since the first week of January. On March 14th, a decision was allegedly made, but I wasn't notified through email, app, website, or regular mail. As a single mother of two children facing eviction and no income due to the pandemic, I urgently need to know if my claim was approved or denied as I'm struggling to make ends meet.

I have been waiting for my claim for 45 weeks now. I was approved in early October, but I have not received any payments. Currently, my claim shows active issues, and despite my efforts to resolve them, I have only encountered automated recordings when trying to reach customer support. I have made countless calls during all hours but have been unable to speak to a live agent. The impact of COVID-19 has left me homeless for the first time, and I have endured freezing conditions this winter. I am desperate for assistance to get my life back on track. I have been honest throughout this process, unlike others who have received their benefits promptly. This situation is the most challenging and humiliating experience I have ever faced. If there is any way you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I am 51 years old, soon to be 52, and being treated this way through no fault of my own is disheartening. Thank you for your attention. - William C.

I have been attempting to contact the Department of Labor and Workforce for over 10 weeks now without success. They owe me money from my previous claim that I never received. Despite refiling in March, they informed me that it needs to be appealed as they denied it. However, they are referring to a claim from [redacted], not March [redacted]. I cannot complete weekly certifications as they have closed my case incorrectly under the [redacted] claim instead of the current one. It is frustrating to wait on hold for 30 minutes only to be told they are not accepting voicemails. I want to speak to a person. I have called, emailed, and submitted work tickets with no response in 10 weeks. My family is suffering while my claim remains unresolved.

Due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, I, a certified substitute teacher at Knox County Schools in Knoxville, Tennessee, have encountered difficulty finding work as many teachers have been quarantined. Despite re-filing for unemployment benefits three weeks ago due to quarantine periods affecting my employment, I have not received any payments since prior to April 18 this year. This extended delay of more than 21 days has caused financial strain. I expected a reduced amount of benefits but have yet to receive any money. Could you please provide information on the delay in processing my benefits?

I have been receiving my unemployment benefits weekly in Tennessee since December without any problems until a few weeks ago. Someone tampered with my account, and I couldn't access it. After several days of calling, I finally reached a person who helped resolve the issue, and I received my check. However, for the past two weeks, my payments are showing as "in progress," and I haven't received any money. This has led to me being evicted as I couldn't pay my rent. I urgently need to speak with someone. I recently spoke with a representative who wasn't helpful and only mentioned emailing someone in that department. It's frustrating as she provided no further information or timeline. This situation is critical for me.

I am reaching out regarding a concerning issue with my Veteran spouse's benefits. I have been jobless since February and received only one payment. Despite multiple attempts to inquire, I continue to face delays and conflicting explanations each time I contact support. Reasons for the hold-up have varied from misunderstandings about company ownership to missing release information, which I promptly addressed as advised. However, I am still waiting for subsequent payments more than 11 weeks later. As the main provider for my family, including a child, this prolonged delay is causing significant strain. I am unsure of the next steps and whether escalating my concerns is necessary. Your assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

As the spouse of a US veteran, I have been unemployed since February. After receiving one lump payment, I have not received any further payments since April. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue through calls and online chats, each interaction yields different explanations for the delay. Initially, I was informed the payment was held due to incorrect ownership information, which I did not provide. Subsequently, I was told there were missing details in my release information. I complied with all requests, but the situation remains unresolved. It has been over 10 weeks, and my family, including a child, depend on this income. I am unsure if escalating this matter is necessary to receive assistance. If I was approved in February and previously received payments, the ongoing delay is concerning. I seek a prompt resolution to this matter. Your attention to this sensitive issue is greatly appreciated.

As a school bus driver, I had a situation with my unemployment claim during fall and then Christmas break. After providing the required identification, my claim was denied initially. I reapplied, went through an appeal process, and won in February. However, I was informed that my claim would be reviewed again, essentially restarting the process. Additionally, my Christmas break claim won't be processed until the October claim is settled. My concern is about not receiving any unemployment benefits until October [redacted] if the October claim is denied. Clarification on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

During my time at Nason Homes in Franklin, Tennessee, I encountered an issue with the gas reimbursement that was initially agreed upon by the owner. However, after realizing the amount involved, the owner modified the terms without consulting me. Despite my continuous trips to Murfeesburo, I only received $[redacted] instead of the expected amount. Feeling pressured, I accepted the reduced sum to avoid termination. The owner had promised a reimbursement rate of $0.53 per mile, which influenced my decision to travel further distances. Over my seven-year tenure, I remember a situation where I worked overtime in my early years, but the owner only compensated me at a straight hourly rate. Coerced into signing a document relinquishing my right to overtime pay, I felt conflicted but complied due to job security concerns. I have documentation, including emails, to support my claims, and I am unsure how to proceed with addressing these discrepancies.

I worked for a company as an AC tech in Chattanooga, TN for three days as an employee. During this time, they offered me a contractor position instead. I worked 17.5 hours between November 21st and 23rd. I provided my banking and routing numbers, as well as my identification, but have not been paid yet. They claim they haven't received my identification and have been giving me excuses. I've tried emailing and calling them multiple times, but I haven't received a response. My name is Jonathan C. and my phone number is [redacted]. I have proof of the emails I sent them over a month ago, and I'm still trying to resolve this payment issue.

I recently started working at Gossett Motors after being hired through the internet. After 90 days, Steve Edwards enrolled me in health insurance, which I did not request or want. He insists I show proof of my current health insurance or they will continue deducting it from my paycheck. I was unaware that enrolling was required to opt out. I was hoping to decline health coverage during the open enrollment period. For now, they are deducting $44 from my weekly pay until then. Thank you for addressing this issue on my behalf. C.H.

Case Number: 23CX157 Execution ID No: [redacted] State of Tennessee, Davidson County General Sessions Court In March of this year, I was notified that the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development would start garnishing my wages until the amount of $[redacted] is collected. I am unsure why this action is being taken. Is there a possibility of arranging a payment plan? The current deduction from my paycheck is causing financial strain, and I am struggling to cover my other expenses, leading to increasing debt. I kindly request assistance by providing a contact name and direct phone number for further discussion. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been approved for benefits, but I have yet to receive any payments. Despite being instructed to certify, I encounter an error each time I attempt to do so. Given my upcoming move, it is crucial for me to access these benefits. The individual assigned to my case advised me to call a specific number, but I have made numerous attempts to reach out with no success. I urgently require assistance and hope to have someone contact me promptly.

Hello, I had to take a leave of absence abruptly due to issues with my paychecks and identity theft. I have kept in communication with my manager, even meeting face to face. I suspect someone within the company is involved in illegal activity, which I have raised with them. Despite my concerns, they have brushed it off and advised me to move on. I requested for my personal matters to be investigated, but after two weeks, my manager has not received any updates despite multiple inquiries. Others who took leaves were addressed promptly, unlike me, which makes me feel targeted within the company. I have evidence showing I did not quit, but I fear returning to work on Monday only to be terminated unfairly. I believe I am entitled to the leave due to discrepancies in my pay and the ongoing fraudulent activities. I regularly provide updates, including doctor's notes, but my concerns continue to be disregarded. I am seeking advice on how to proceed in this situation.
