I waited about two minutes for them to return with the alternative number. I asked why I couldn’t get the Frigidaire information from the number I called, and the representative told me that the number was for information on small appliances. If an individual has an urgent call, such as what to do if an appliance has an electrical problem or suddenly stops working, they might get frustrated since this is not the number where they can get help.

The experience with the representative was pleasant. Although he could not help with my request, he took the time to find and share a number I could call to get the information. However, upon calling to verify whether that number was for the Frigidaire brand, the automated system for that number also answered the call with, “Hello, this is Electrolux.”

I learned through some online research that Electrolux owns Frigidaire. Not knowing that both companies are related could be frustrating for an individual who calls expecting to inquire about Frigidaire products. It might be helpful if the automated system clarified the relationship between the two companies when a consumer calls Frigidaire’s 888-845-7330  number and alternate numbers.
